geek degree needed

I need something called an RF modulator. (you plug the red, white and yellow cables into it, and then plug it into the cable connection)

Before Tivo people must have plucked tv commercial regulators off the shelves. (they lower the volume during those pesky adverts)

there are times that a girl needs a guy around

mainly to plug electronics together and hang things. ok, and on moving day.

i'm exhausted by the effort of trying (and failing) to get my tv to listen to a fancy dvd player i received as a gift. (which I really, really appreciate)

the tv is so old, it only has one input for audio. (which livea kindly explained I would need a converter). I also purchase a 3 wires that nicely matched with the dvd. getting the a/v wires to plug into the dvd was a no brainer. but none of the wires will plug into the tv. they're round. they look nearly the same in size. hindered by the lack of a flash light, i've turned my heavy tv around so it faces the bright lamps in my living room. good old RCA has this lovely little raised border around the input area. they dont' have one on the antenna input. should there have ever been a problem connecting that wire, one would easily be able to see where there was a problem. but for audio/visio let's go right ahead and try to obscure it as much as possible.

whatever.

my head hurts.
