For Once

New York is not at the top of the list. Check out The Most Overpriced Places in 2004"

(NYC is # 9)

There's set of descriptions on city types at cheapest places to live. I didn't think there could be a "telecommuting heaven" (other than the kind where you always telecommute to work).

"Bohemian Bargains" was a new one for me too.

"Bohemian Bargains are core cities with lively downtowns and a reasonable cost of living. They were picked for being honest-to-God cities, with real downtowns, not just postmodern sprawls. Bohemian Bargains will appeal particularly to the young and single."

...problem for moi though... not many of the cities sung out to me. Denver maybe, but
- Cleveland? er, no
- Milwaukee --- BRRRRR
- Pittsburg eh

AH ha. Portland is there. But it's so far away. I'm really not ready to pack everything up to move west just to have a car and more space.

Back to skimming the headlines I go!
