What the hell?

tummy ache

so saturday i had a tummy ache that was really close to period cramps. i slept a lot, and couldn't figure out why i was so tired. i watched a ton of awful movies, missing key storyline pieces. bleh, whatever.

come sunday, it got worse. i had chills, alternating between cold and sweating, and my skin was really sensitive to the touch. my mother introduced pain pill to see if would help, and boy, can i see why vicodin is so popular.

so now that i left work at 2pm, and napped until 7pm, i've done a bit of research online.

i'm concerned I might have diverticulitis, as my mum does. i'll be relegated to eating old people food (soft, mushy, high fiber, bland). i can't go to dr. charlie. a physical exam involves a rectal exam. that involves a glove in your tushy(!) eek. can't even think about it, let alone going and doing it. however, the nagging insistent pain in my lower left is really getting on my nerves. and i can't exactly get addicted to vicodin, when a) that's a bad idea and b) i don' t have anymore:)

sitting i just remembered another instance a while back where I actually went home from a night out b/c of tummy pain. that was way back when e's brother came ot visit and we were at kanvas. oooo. so now i'm going to do a search on alcohol and diverticulitis (an ailment that usually strikes those over the age of 40.)
