Kitten count: 6

Still!

Ok, so now they've added eye gunkiness to their repetoire. But that's usually not fatal. Thankfully Gabrielle is going to meet me midtown to do another dropoff of drugs. (It's much nicer than trucking down to Union Square.)

I'll tell you though, eye gunk can be scary the first time you see it pop-out like an eyeball. I literally thought my damp coton ball was removing retinas left and right. But, no.

I'm not cut out for parenthood. Geez.

So the mommy cat likes her food warm.

How do I know this?

This morning I had one of those 'oh crap. i need to be at work in an hour, and the ride can vary anywhere from 15 - 45 minutes' moments. I shut the alarm off and had to make do w/perfume and bad hair. (good coverup can go a long way.)

I slapped my clothes on and ran thru the kitchen. i opened a can of (premium healthy food) and plopped it onto a plate. the gelly stuff that preserves the can shape held true. and a little mini can mold stood resolutely.

...and when i got home tonight - it was still there.

I took a new [exact same] can of food and added hot water to it and mushed it around. And guess what? That's somehow yummier. (This said the woman whose dinner consists of tawny port and cheddar cheese.)

Aunt Flow has arrived. And Friday is the long opera. LOVEly.

Sidenote: the port I picked up tonight advertised at 92 points. It's great!
