Entertaining in Sunnyside

Dinner at Dazies was fantastic. I kind of wish I was hungrier going in. I bet their tiramasu is worth tasting.

The Western Gazette (yes, there are newspapers for Queens) dining review from 2000 is still on target. Thinking about it, the food was unbelievable...but the service was awesome. I didn't notice it. It was unobtrusive. Nice. Everyone was nice. The owner not only bought us a round of drinks (two - but who's counting?), but roses.

ROSES.

I can't tell you the last time that happened.

"The owner would like to invite you to a drink at the bar."

Anything we wanted. Tara brilliantly suggested sambuca.

Starting at the beginning, Erin and Tara were troopers and came out to Sunnyside. I have a major headache to show for it, but had lots of fun last night. It's fun ot have conversations about things other than work. Now that I've sat around, I'm going to dress and head for Petco.
